This is our dedicated Thrive area in school. The space includes a quiet area for children to sit and read, have time to talk to an adult, complete Thrive activities and play therapy.
In our KS1 classes children in Years 1 and 2 follow our interesting and varied Key Stage 1 Curriculum which is tailored to each child’s abilities, we want all our children to be secure and happy to learn. Our curriculum incorporates a range of subjects including humanities, science, art and music. We also provide a range of weekly Enrichment activities.

In Bee Croft class children with an EHCP or assessment plan use a total communication approach, supporting the children’s unique communication and language skills.
We are proud of our library and it is used to effectively promote a love of reading in school and enhance the children’s learning. The library is open each week for shared reading with families.
In our Zebra Class (Reception) learning takes place through a mix of continuous provision for play based learning and adult led activities. Children have access to activities for all areas of learning in the Early Years curriculum.
Adjacent to the playground, this grassy area contains our trim trail equipment. Children also enjoy eating their lunch out on the grass as a picnic during the Trinity term.
Our large playground is a space to promote active play. There is an adjacent trike track and grass garden area. The three main play areas include a wide variety of play equipment including our tyre park, dino wall and trim trail.
School meals are cooked fresh on site each day and include breakfast, a mid-morning snack and hot meals. Lunch menus run on a three week cycle, each day includes a hot meat and vegetarian option, Jacket potatoes, pasta and deli bar.
A large space for our school to come together for assemblies, PE, plays and celebration events. Our children love decorating this space with themed hoops at Christmas time.
Outdoor learning takes place in our large forest school area, providing hands on experiences in our natural setting. Activities range from den building and bug hunts to story-telling.

Art is a subject enjoyed by all children in this bright and well-equipped room.
A quiet space to facilitate our school’s love of reading. It is well-stocked with a variety of books to inspire the children to learn and supporting our use of accelerated reader. Every child has an opportunity to choose a book from our library on a weekly basis.
Our children enjoy regular use of our well-equipped Computer Suite, so important for building on their skills and helpful for many subjects.
Our KS2 specialist provision for Communication and Interaction – With a range of communication tools, sensory experiences in Sensory Circuits and hand gym activities, all used on a daily basis this 18 place class caters for children with specialist educational needs in receipt of an EHCP.
Our KS2 specialist provision for Cognition and learning – This 18 place class caters for children with moderate learning difficulties who are in receipt of an EHCP. We have a structured learning room and an Early Years styled room for children with cognition and learning difficulties in Years 3-6. Access to sensory space and speech and language support are also provided.

We have an eye-catching and fun climbing frame out on our playing field. Brilliant for helping the children push themselves to try new things and enjoy themselves in a large open space.
